Forever 21 Trend: One Shoulder or Puffed Shoulders

I always wonder about the inspiration behind new and upcoming trends in fashion. Forever21's new shoulder ideas are weird. Where did they get these ideas from?

One shoulder dresses and tops seem to be really popular now at Forever21. I personally think they look asymmetrical and weird, but they are okay and interesting from a back view. This trend will probably up the sales of convertible one-strap and strapless bras. It just seems like a hassle and indecision between sleeves and strapless.

Puffed shoulders are also phasing in. They look unnatural and stiff and reminds me of football shoulder pads.
