Zhang Photography: Eco-Friendly Fashion

For South 40 Week, my dorm hosted an Eco-Friendly Fashion Show with a fellow res college and we threw it down! Unfortunately, my floor/outfit didn't win but I did win a pair of movie tickets through raffle and had a great time.

The supplies we could use were newspapers, markers, blue tape, and plastic bags. We had 45 minutes to make the outfits from scratch and they were judged by a panel based on creativity, utilization of materials, theme, and being FIERCE. I apparently wasn't fierce enough *sniffle* haha but when boys wear red high heels and strut it, they win that category hands down.

My roomie set up her lighting set and took pictures for everyone at the event. Here they are!

This outfit features:
An awesome newspaper flower strung through a metal headband (brilliant idea by dormmate)
Newspaper flower earrings
Leaf decoration on a ragged edge top
Crumpled skirt featuring flower cutouts
Shoe decoration with nature imagery
Train
Windmill for renewable energy

Makeup:
ELF E/S Duo in Olive (used the lime green)
ELF Purple Eyeliner
Wet n Wild Creme E/S Stick in Envy as base
Revlon Nude Attitude Lipstick, then ELF Mineral Lipstick in Rosy Tan over it
Contacts: Geo Angel Blue

The winner: so fierce! And yes, he is wearing high heels

I love your eye makeup! The fashion show sounds like so much fun. PS the guy looks like Lady Gaga (cause of the red hat)
