At last, the long-awaited H&M Conscious Collection! About 3 weeks ago, I ventured to the mall to check out the hyped all-in-white clothing that toted environmental consciousness with their 100% organic cotton products (this was also the day of my return policy fiasco). I was actually really disappointed with the limited items in stock at the Galleria and how all the small sizes had already run out. With the items that were left, I found that everything was super sheer in an unflattering way and out of my price range. I'd have to check when I'm back in San Diego for the items I've been eyeing all season long. Here is a review of some of my findings from the collection, as well as some cute summery items.
1) H&M Conscious Collection one-shoulder tulip-hem white dress, Euro size 4 ($50 USD)
Absolutely gorgeous and simple, with a flattering one-shoulder style and tulip hem. I wasn't in love with the price tag, which was the major deterrent. My favourite piece of the collection and the satin banding adds a beautiful touch. The ruching is also in many directions and not over the top.
- Verdict: Pass due to the price, but hopefully it'll go on sale.
