NEW YEAR, NEW ARM CANDY. My outfit for yesterday (1/6), first worn for dinner at a family friend's house over the summer. This yellow lighthearted sundress was a spontaneous purchase at Kohl's when I visited her in Florida in August. We were searching for princessy clothes for Disney and this happens to be a Snow White skirt-ish piece, but we went in relative casual wear anyway. By the way, booby cups freak me out on dresses and tops. This one cuts a little close .. I believe I got the heels from Target eons ago (high school?) when they were on clearance for $7. This is my first time wearing them ever.

The newest piece is from Poshlocket, my newest sponsor. This online jewelry store was so kind to send me their beautiful light gold with silver striped Celeste Silver Roped Bracelet for styling and review (thanks Camile!). We also have a little something something cooked up for you lovely readers tomorrow (hint: starts with a "g"!). It's a sturdy bracelet and has a bit of weight to it, which I like in my jewelry. It is easy to match with anything, dressed up or down and is small enough that it doesn't slip off my petite wrists. The only thing that concerns me is the tiny tiny clasp holding both sides together, but luckily this slips on and off with little effort. I'll have to be extra careful - but you know me, I'm a klutz and rough with my jewelry/bags.

Keeping it short and sweet today and soaking up my last week of SoCal rays. 80 degrees in the winter and lovin' it. 1Q84 by Murakami is my new read and Peet's Coffee is the place to be, trying out new teas and daydreams.

I love the floppy hat! I am so envious that it's 80 degrees over there. It's not as cold today as it has been the last week, but definitely not warm enough for a sundress yet :(

I love finding shoes that I have left behind when I visit my mom's house. I would go to my closet and find all sorts of shoes that I left behind. Most of them I bought from Kohl's a long time ago also on clearance :) I have a yellow Daisy Fuentes heel that I love now :D Don't even know why I left it behind in the first place.

Love your sundress :) And I can't believe San Diego is 80 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is January :p

I am very impressed that the weather is gorgeous and 80 degrees that you can be wearing sundresses and strapped heels...not that I don't mind the cold, but I could do with a little snow, if the weather is going to play mind games in NY, haha. The bracelet looks delicatedly made, but I like how it's simple enough to be worn with so many different styles. Hope you've been having a great weekend!

Just discovered your blog! I love your photography and posts!! <3 Your necklace is soo pretty. You look lovely and ready for a sunny day! :) I wish it was that warm here! (east coast ><)
haha I love that you were able to use your shoes after all those years! I feel like you can always recycle clothes/styles if you wait a few years for them to come back into style or suit your tastes :)

Such a pretty bracelet, Angie! It reminds me of the spiral part on a notebook. Pretty cool! Wow it must be warm where you live to be able to wear a dress and sandals in Jan! =P
